One Dead, Another Injured In Salisbury Township Small Plane Crash: Police

One person died and another was injured after a small plane crashed outside of a home in Salisbury Township, authorities confirmed.

The Federal Aviation Administration said that a single-engine Piper PA-28 crashed in a yard around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Officers responding to the scene on the 1400 block of Keystone Road found two victims, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene, Salisbury Township police said.

The other victim was brought to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest for treatment.

The Lehigh County Coroner's Office was still working to identify the first victim and has scheduled an autopsy for later this week.

The FAA, Lehigh County Coroner's Office, and Salisbury Township Police Department are investigating.
